Symmetric Information (“we”, “us”) runs this website. This policy explains what information we collect through it, why, and what choices you have.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name.
When you contact us: your name, email address, your message, and whether you ticked “Add me to the waitlist too”.
Technical details sent with a form: when you submit a form, our form software also records your IP address and basic browser information, to help us spot spam.
We don’t ask for any other information, and you don’t need an account to use this site.
How we use it
- To email you when early access opens, if you joined the waitlist.
- To reply to your message, if you contacted us.
- To keep the site free of spam and abuse.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t use cookies for visitors, and it doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
Your choices
- Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
- You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Email us at the address below and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Visitors from the UK and European Union
We’re a US-based business, and the information you give us is stored in the United States. If you’re in the UK or EU, data protection law (the GDPR) gives you some additional rights:
- Why we can use your information: for the waitlist, because you asked to join it (your consent). For replying to messages and preventing spam, because we have a legitimate interest in running the site and answering people who contact us.
- Your rights: you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it. You can withdraw your consent to the waitlist at any time.
- Complaints: if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Keeping your information safe
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to the people who need it. No method is completely secure, but we take care with what you share.
